We raise and sell Buckfast queen bees in addition to the production of honey and bee products.

Buckfast queen bees for sale

Our breeding Buckfast queen bees are F1, so they are daughters of certified mothers from different national and international breeders.

We purchase groups of mothers from different breeders, and after a production cycle of testing the progeny derived from the mothers, on the farm and with the cooperation of other producers in the area, once the mother tests are passed, the lines that go into large-scale breeding for sale are chosen.

Our Buckfast queen bees

We possess 1200 fertilization bodies that are divided into two types 500 apidea and 700 miniplus type.

The choice is due to the better quality of queen bees produced in miniplus as the queens fertilize in larger numbers and are well cared for.

Sampling takes place no earlier than 21 days after the royal cell is inserted in order to assess the first operculated brood of the queens to be sampled and give the queen time to mature.

The use of apidea, on the other hand, is used in the early and late stages of the season on major crops where with abundance they also give excellent results.

In fertilization apiaries that have about 150 fertilization bodies, families are placed with pint-sized honey lines for male production that are replaced in mid-season with crates that come in from harvests to improve the quantity of males and the quality of males the male families are overfed for the maintenance of males that need a large amount of protein and vitamins to be in top shape to fertilize even in the most difficult periods.
